Overview

Getting a new Flynt organisation from empty to a shared dashboard takes four steps. This section walks each one; the Get Started checklist in the app tracks the same milestones and ticks itself as you complete them.

The path

1. Connect your data -- point Flynt at BigQuery (or an ingested spreadsheet) and run a first query.
2. Create a dataset -- save that query; its cached result becomes the foundation cards build on.
3. Build your first card and dashboard -- pick a chart type, bind it to the dataset, compose a dashboard.
4. Invite your team -- bring in viewers and builders, each with the right tier.

Who can do what

A brand-new organisation has one member: you. Your account is the organisation's first administrator, which is enough for everything above. As you invite people you choose their tier per person -- see Members and roles for the full ladder.
